Works were staged to ensure that access to Qantas baggage services was maintained at all times. The existing amenities were demolished and re-configured which involved extensive modifications to in-ground drainage. All noisy and disruptive works needed to be completed during airport curfew hours. The new amenities included new male, female and DDA bathroom (including hoist) along with parents room and changing facilities.
